Ethiopia Hambela Wamena 250 gr

Ethiopia Hambela Wamena is a natural coffee from Guji, produced by Benti Nenka and sourced from small multi-generational family farms in one of Ethiopia’s best-known specialty coffee regions. Grown at elevations of up to 2,300 metres, the cherries develop slowly and gain the density often associated with cleaner, more articulate cups. Rather than presenting as a broader heirloom blend, this lot is built around a more specific selection, allowing the character of Hambela Wamena to come through with more clarity.

In the cup, it is vivid and direct, with the darker fruit note of blackcurrant balanced by a brighter citrus edge of orange. The natural process gives the coffee extra fruit presence, while the structure stays clear and composed rather than heavy. Scored 87.5 by Nordic Approach, this is a coffee with brightness, lift, and enough intensity to stay memorable without losing precision.
