Colombia El Mandarino 250 gr

Colombia El Mandarino is a washed coffee from Huila, produced by Yulieth Anacona on a farm she took over from her in-laws, continuing three generations of coffee growing. Yulieth works closely with the landscape around her: different trees and plants grow among the coffee, with deeper root systems helping keep water and nutrients available in the soil. The result is a diverse growing environment with a clear focus on healthy coffee plants and a farm built with the future in mind.

This year’s lot follows a coffee we previously bought from Yulieth. After last year’s Caturra sold out quickly, the current lot combines Caturra with Castillo, giving the coffee a little more body while keeping its profile classic and approachable. We taste chocolate and mandarin: familiar sweetness, gentle citrus, and an easy balance. Scored 86.75 and sourced through Inconexus, this is our second purchase from El Mandarino.
