Los Balseros is a family estate in Huila, Colombia, that perfectly bridges the gap between generations-old tradition and modern coffee science.

The farm's story began with Yessica and Miller’s father, who built a legacy for his nine children by farming in harmony with nature. By preserving the estate's native forest, he protected the biodiversity and soil health that still give their coffee its incredible foundation today. Now, two of his children are driving Los Balseros into the future:

Miller Hoyos oversees the daily rhythm of the farm, managing 25,000 coffee trees and introducing new varietals to diversify their flavor profiles. Yessica Hoyos studies coffee quality at SENA, using her own dedicated plot on the farm to run innovative processing experiments.

We were lucky enough to secure a spectacular lot from Yessica’s experimental harvest. It’s vibrant, unique, and officially ready to elevate your morning coffee ritual!
